Corrections Employees Week at Chester

During the first week of May, SCI Chester celebrated Institutional Parole and Corrections Employees Week in the only way it knows how: by giving back to staff! All staff received a gift card from Wawa and specialized meals courtesy of the Employees Association — including Taco Tuesday and It’s a Wrap Friday!

The Empowerment Committee raffled off a total of six themed baskets. Winners were randomly selected by staff throughout the facility. Money raised will go to future staff teambuilding events. The Mentoring Committee had a table for sign up with special prizes for those new staff interested in becoming a mentor and, as always, the Activities Department had their daily staff games in the gym with Ms. Rober (librarian) and Ms. Favaloro (corrections healthcare administrator) coming out as the winners of the ping pong and corn hole tournaments!
