Benner Township Welcomes Pair of Prison Pups

SCI Benner Township welcomed the first two dogs from Canine Partners for Life in their new puppy training program. Izzy and Missy received a big welcome from the staff and inmate population when they arrived earlier this month. Staff, assigned inmates, and the two dogs have begun the specific training in hopes of developing the dogs into service companions for those with medical and physical challenges.
