Facilities Honor Staff for Employee Week

​DOC facilities found various ways to express their appreciation and gratitude to their employees for Institutional Parole and Corrections Employee Week.

SCI Albion held a special picnic:

At SCI Pine Grove, leadership celebrated with special meals and raffles for employees. It ended the week with its annual flag ceremony to honor its staff members:

SCI Greene held its annual Ceremony of Remembrance (pictured at top) to recognize former and current employees at SCI Greene who passed away in the past year. It also welcomed two food trucks to provide lunch and dessert — paid for by the Employees Association — to all employees for lunch one day, and it held a Retiring of the Colors ceremony. Greene hosted family night for children and spouses of staff members to tour the facility:
