Waymart Intermediate Care Unit Holds Holiday-Decorating Contest

The Intermediate Care Unit (ICU) at SCI Waymart is home to incarcerated individuals with histories of serious mental illness or psychiatric hospitalizations. To celebrate the season, ICU residents participated in a holiday decorating contest. The activities department provided art supplies and helped when needed, and all participants received a holiday bag full of goodies and treats. This is the first year Waymart has held the contest. It was a great success and will likely return in the future.
