Johnstown Requests Support, Reentrants Deliver

When the City of Johnstown needed mums planted, officials called on Johnstown Community Corrections Center reentrants to help out. Once again, the reentrants delivered as they planted the flowers in the median in front of the Johnstown Inclined Plane.
Marie Mock, Johnstown City Council member and West End Improvement Group member, has requested the help of the reentrants many times to help beautify Johnstown, and they are always a great help.
"They're prompt, hard-working and always polite," Mock said. "A few of the guys start off shy and you can tell they feel awkward about the situation they're in, but we don't care. We are so grateful for the opportunity to have them help us."
Mock plans to call on their help again in the spring.
