Fayette Inmates Raise Nearly $6,000 with Snack Sale

The SCI Fayette activities department recently held a Little Debbie Snack Sale for inmates in general population with the proceeds being split between two local community charities. The sale was a huge success with $5,876 raised.

In conjunction with Domestic Violence Awareness Month, Domestic Violence Services of Southwestern PA was selected to receive half of the donation ($2,938.00). The other half was donated to the East End United Community Center in Uniontown to help with their endeavor to advance the growth and well-being of individuals and families by providing educational, social, economic and cultural opportunities to our community.
