CCC # 2 Supports Local Students with Back-to-School Drive

During the months of July and August, CCC #2 Counselor Piorko organized a Community Service Project to collect back-to-school supplies to be donated to the John H. Taggart School and Forget Me Knot Youth Services. These organizations serve underprivileged children in CCC #2's own neighborhood.
Staff and reentrants have collected and donated items in previous years, and the organizations are always very appreciative of the items they receive.
Counselor Piorko has encouraged reentrants at the CCC to donate and support this community effort, and she emphasized how their contribution would make a difference in the lives of the children in their own community.
