SCI Coal Township inmate organization Lifeline organized this drive to support the Kate’s Cupboard Food Pantry in 2019.

Since the first sale in April 2017, SCI Coal Township inmate organization Lifeline has donated more than $24,000 to local charities. Proceeds from the organization's fundraising sales include $1,000 to Northumberland/Snyder Special Olympics, $3,500 to the Mt. Carmel Food Pantry,  $1,000 to Kate's Cupboard Food Pantry, $500 to Marley's Mission, $6,500 to the Greater Susquehanna Valley United Way, $1,005 to Wreaths Across America at Ft. Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, $11,400 to Kuapas Summer Camp and $2,000 to Janet Weis Children's Hospital.

These sales are of great benefit and not just to the inmate population. While organized by Lifeline, these sales are also only possible thanks to the work of many key staff members.

Lifeline is for inmates who are serving 10 or more years, have no miscondcuts, are not using drugs and want to give back to their community. It is one of two inmate organizations at the facility.
