Waymart Staff Holds Fundraiser for Victims Intervention Program

SCI Waymart employees once again came through with their generosity by purchasing mums, kale and/or asters to support the Victims Intervention Program (VIP). The sale raised $657 for the organization. VIP volunteers and Board of Directors members Linda Magnotta and Keith Williams delivered flowers throughout Wayne County, including at SCI Waymart. Superintendent's Assistant Christine Altemier organized the sale and distribution at the facility.
The VIP provides counseling and support services for victims and survivors of domestic violence, sexual abuse and other serious crimes in Wayne and Pike Counties.
