Gaudenzia DRC Celebrate Recovery Month

Gaudenzia DRC kicked off National Recovery Month on Sept. 2. While Tropical Storm Ida forced the cancelation of the original celebration, DRC staff adapted and had guest speakers, staff and reentrants share their stories and experiences about recovery. A special meal was prepared for reentrants and staff, and messages celebrfating recovery were shared over the PA system throughout the day. The event was very well received by all, and the original event was rescheduled for later in the month.
