Somerset Honor Guard Represents PA at Ohio Memorial Service

SCI Somerset's Honor Guard traveled to Columbus, Ohio, to participate in the memorial service at the Correctional Peace Officer Association's Project 2000 on June 25. The Honor Guard represented the entire PA DOC with pride and dignity at the solemn event.

For more than 50 years, the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections has released a newsletter called "Correctional Newsfront." The newsletter highlighted great stories happening in our facilities involving staff, inmates, parolees and anyone involved in corrections in PA. After it became a digital newsletter, it has taken another step into the future by being turned into a blog.
