SCI Waymart recognized three employees who were moving on from the facility in April:

Ronda Hugaboom: Ronda (at left in photo below) started with the DOC in February 2012 as a clerk typist 2 in the chaplaincy/CCPM department. She transferred to the records department as a clerk typist 2 and was then promoted to records specialist. Now with more nine years in the DOC, Ronda is transferring to The Office of Administration as a human resources assistant 2 for the PA Department of Transportation.

Jessica Failing: Jessica (at right in photo below) started working for the DOC in August 2019 at SCI Retreat as a social worker II. She transferred to SCI Waymart in May 2020 as a result of SCI Retreat's closure. Jessica has previous experience working for county jail, community mental health, school districts and hospitals. Jessica is going to be working at The Wright Center as a licensed clinical social worker doing outpatient therapy.

David Gorman: Dave began his career at Waymart in 1996 as a psychological service associate in the psychology department and was later promoted to a psychological service specialist. More recently he became a unit manager and is currently Waymart's corrections classification program manager. He often assisted Central Office in various projects, especially training new staff. Dave has more than 24 years of service, and is now retiring. After retiring, he plans to travel, make beer, smoke meats, kayak, play frisbee golf and garden—which is no different than what he did while working.
