Waymart Records Supervisor Retires, Dental Assistant Celebrates 30 Years

SCI Waymart's Alice Emmett, records supervisor, (below left) will be retiring with 35 years in the DOC. Also at Waymart, Karen Ashcom, dental assistant, (below right) celebrated 30 years of service with the DOC.

For more than 50 years, the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections has released a newsletter called "Correctional Newsfront." The newsletter highlighted great stories happening in our facilities involving staff, inmates, parolees and anyone involved in corrections in PA. After it became a digital newsletter, it has taken another step into the future by being turned into a blog.

This is the new "Official Newsletter of the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections."
