Dallas Inmates donate to Purchase Gifts for Local Nonprofit

2020 marks the 15th anniversary that the Religious Services Department at SCI Dallas received generous funds from the inmate population in order to purchase gifts to give to the Bank Mountain Food Pantry at the Trucksville United Methodist Church.
In total, the population donated $612 to purchase items such as gloves, hats, coloring books, candy, remote controlled trucks, dolls and various board games and Bibles. Along with Father Tyler Parry, chaplains McKing, Houck and Father Dorrance purchased the items and delivered them. The volunteers at the United Methodist Church were very thankful, and appreciated of the great donation. The items will be given to those in need within the Trucksville community.
