Over the July 4th weekend, Tomorrows Hope veterans and reentrants joined forces to refurbish and re-dedicate the POW/MIA Armed Forces Memorial.

Reentrant Thomas, a Navy veteran, said, "As a veteran, myself, it is an honor to help in this project. It provided a feeling of pride and gratefulness to know that the staff at Tomorrows Hope put value in the sacrifice of my fellow brothers in arms that are missing in action and my military service."

Approximately eight veterans participated in the refurbishment project, which represents approximately 1,600 service members still missing in action. CEO Rich Metzger, who suggested the project, said "We just wanted to let our Veterans know that we value all those who have served, although we can never repay them for the sacrifices they have made. This monument is just a small token of our appreciation although it's our hope that the next generation of soldiers do not need to face the uncertainty of never returning home."
