Arts and Cultural

Andy Warhol Museum
Explore seven floors filled with fascinating works by Pittsburgh-born Pop Art icon Andy Warhol. The collection features 900 paintings, 100 sculptures, prints, photos, feature films, and his famous "Screen Tests." The Andy Warhol Museum is the largest museum in the United States dedicated to a single artist.
 
Benedum Center for the Performing Arts
Originally built in 1928 as a movie palace, the center is now home to a vast array of live entertainment, including the Pittsburgh Opera and Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre. Catch Broadway tours, comedy shows, ballets and concerts at the 2,800-seat venue located in the heart of the Pittsburgh Cultural District.
 
Carnegie Museum of Art
Industrialist and philanthropist Andrew Carnegie founded this museum in 1895. Today, it is recognized world-wide for its distinguished collection of American and European works from the 16th century to the present.
 
Heinz Hall for the Performing Arts
This former Roaring Twenties movie palace is now a 2,676-seat hall that hosts roughly 200 performances annually. It's also home to the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra.
 
Pittsburgh Cultural District
This 14 square-block area is home to Downtown Pittsburgh's dynamic art and entertainment scene. Discover a multitude of live entertainment, including theater shows, classical music, opera, ballet, and performing arts at one of seven theaters.
 
ToonSeum
Discover a deeper appreciation for cartooning at this Pittsburgh attraction. ToonSeum is one of only three museums in the country dedicated to this remarkable art form.
 
Fallingwater
About 50 miles southeast of Pittsburgh lies what is perhaps the most famous private residence in the country. Conceived and created by Frank Lloyd Wright for the Kaufman family, this spectacular house is built over a waterfall and is among the Smithsonian's Life List of "28 Places to See Before You Die."
 
Market Square
Located just two blocks from the Wyndham Grand Pittsburgh Downtown, Market Square features a summer farmer's market and outdoor ice-skating in winter. Enjoy great restaurants and shopping year round.
 
Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium
This 77-acre zoo is home to 4,000 animals, including 20 on the threatened or endangered species. It originally opened in 1898 and is only one of six places in the United States that boasts a major zoo and aquarium in a single location.

Outdoor Activities

Point State Park
This 36-acre park is located where the famous three rivers of Pittsburgh meet. Stand in one spot and see the mighty Ohio, Allegheny and Monongahela rivers all at once. This lush urban park is found directly across the street from the Wyndham Grand Pittsburgh Downtown hotel.
 
Duquesne Incline
Scale Mt. Washington in a quaint wooden cable car. Duquesne Incline is one of the few remaining inclines in the U.S. and it has continuously run since 1877. At the top, take in spectacular views of downtown Pittsburgh.

CONSOL Energy Center
Completed in 2010, this Pittsburgh sports attractions is home of the fighting Pittsburgh Penguins hockey team. Join over 18,000 screaming fans in this Uptown venue, or catch great concerts and special events held throughout the year.
 
Heinz Field
This spectacular open-air venue holds more than 65,000 fans and is home to the Super Bowl winning team, the Pittsburgh Steelers. So bring your Terrible Towel and cheer them to victory. Heinz Field is an easy walk from the hotel.
 
PNC Park
Baseball fans will enjoy a game at PNC Park, home of the Pittsburgh Pirates. The stadium is walking distance from the hotel, or accessible through the hotel's complimentary shuttle service.
